The Mearian Republic (Anglo-Saxon: ᛗᚫᚱᛡᚾ᛫ᚱᛖᛈᚢᛒᛚᛁᚳ) is the post-Lignic period of the ancient Minecraft civilisation, characterized by government headed by consuls, and large territorial holdings around the Mearian Sea in the north-west of Freimaurer.
The Republic is formed on Mearia (Anglo-Saxon: ᛗᚫᚱᛡ), a string of peninsulas around the Mearian Sea (Anglo-Saxon: ᛗᚫᚱᛡᚾ᛫ᛋᚫ) in the north-west of Freimaurer, with roots into the neighbouring continent.
The Mearian people are well educated, as schools and universities are free. The majority of people speak many different langues. These include: Anglo-Saxon, English, and German. Within the republic English is the most commonly spoken language. As for writing; Anglo-Saxon is used, as it is the official language.
